Kick off Valentine’s Weekend with an opportunity to stretch your boundaries through Partner Yoga. This two-hour workshop incorporates Thai massage, yoga, and creative movement. It inspires trust, playfulness, and communication.
During the workshop we will:
—experience a deeper exploration of yoga postures through hands-on instruction
—assist and receive the benefits of partner assists
—stretch and restore in a safe environment while sharing the gift of touch
The workshop features a light flow to loosen up, followed by a variety of partner techniques open to people of all levels of ability. Partners rely on each other’s support to keep correct body alignment, balance, and focus in a posture. When you feel physically supported, not only do you experience a yoga posture differently, but you also begin to allow yourself to relax and trust. This leads to yoga in parasympathetic mode, where you can completely relax your mind and body.
Single registrants are welcome so long as you don’t mind being paired with a new friend.
